Because it turns out, the consensus is completely proper. You don’t must be a music producer or seasoned audiophile to understand that the ATH-M50 are a wonderful set of headphones. I could not be described as either of the above, but I do adore my music, and it has in no way sounded better than via these headphones.
I’ll say that the bass, mids and treble in Audio Technica AthM50 are extremely well balanced. The sound is superior, and no matter what music you pump through them is reproduced with wonderful precision.

Besides the sound itself, yet another reason I enjoy the ATH-M50 Headphones is their excellent design and style. The Audio Technica Headphones are comfy to wear for extended intervals, because of the plush cushioning on the earcups and headband. Not forgetting the fact rotating ear cups that can collapse for compact storage.
