ATH-M50 Reviews: I am not joking, the Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphones are fantastic. I picked them up simply because I listen to music 8 hours each day, 5 days per week while at work. I additionally do a little studio mixing at home. I went through a couple pairs of headphones prior to ATH-M50 but could not discover one as outstanding as these for the cost. They actually do put the Bose Quiet Comforts & Dre Beats to shame.
The sound is perfect. Even out of the box the Audio-Technica M50 sound excellent. It finally sounds like I can hear each and every channel of audio in music now. These give music the depth it deserves. I’ve had a solid 75 hours of burn in since picking these up, and I actually do believe the Audio-Technica AthM50 just sound better.
Durability is excellent. Sure, components are made of plastic, but they do not really feel cheap whatsoever. The Audio Technica Headphones are light enough that they do not feel like a pressure on your head, and I can wear them for long amounts of time without needing a rest. Right after a month with these I ordered a second pair for my sister as a gift. She’s in love with them also.

I structured this on the overall sound experience. Highs, Mid, Lows, and Soundstage as a whole. I wish to be able to hear each and every note and each and every musical instrument. That is exactly where the Audio-Technica ATH-M50s delivers.

I enjoy when a product displays excellent engineering. The AudioTechnica ATH-M50 headphone jack adapter needs a screw in attachment. The headband region is really comfortable. The M50 (not M50s) features a coiled wire to the end. I truly like this feature because the straight wire headphones have usually frustrated me with tangled wire problems.

I actually do not see how anybody can say you are not getting your money’s worth with the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Studio Monitor Headphones. You will find other brands on the market that force you to spend almost $300 for exactly the same overall performance. So this really is a no-brainer.
